State Police Blotter: Teenager Uses Child's Stroller in Attempted Retail Theft

The following information comes from the PA State Police's blotter, which was published by the Media Patch.
Retail Theft—Sears Department Store at Granite Run Mall at about 5:49 p.m. on Feb. 10. An 18-year-old Havertown Stephanie Elizabeth Cox was observed by store security concealing merchandise within her 3-month-old child's stroller, according to State Police.

The teenager was detained by security before she attempted to leave the store without paying for the items, according to State Police. An investigation led to Cox's arrest in connection with retail theft, according to State Police.
She was also found to be in possession of three different types of suspected narcotics, according to State Police.

According to the clerk at the District Court 32-2-48 on Tuesday, Feb. 21, Cox has been charged with retail theft and possession of marijuana.
