Jason Scott McClay, the popular Rite Aid Pharmacy manager who was shot and killed during a September 19 robbery at his store in Chester, was a Haverford High School alum.


McClay was the son of Margie (Jim) Reiley of Havertown and Bruce (Sherry) McClay of Havertown. He was the brother of Jessica McClay Frank of Broomall, Patrick and Daniel Reiley and Bruce and Ian McClay, all of Havertown. 

Jason was a 1992 graduate of Haverford High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on the USS Kitty Hawk, according to his obituary.

So sad- another good man down, another blow to struggling city of Chester. Hope they give the max to the 2 losers who did this
