Robbery at Gun Point at Self-Storage Unit

Read some recent crimes reported to police in Haverford Township.

Haverford Township Police Department is investigating a number of recently reported crimes.

  • A woman reported that she was robbed at gunpoint at a self-storage facility in the 200 block of West Chester Pike on Sept. 7 around noon. According to the victim, a man showed her a handgun and demanded money. She gave him the money from a cash drawer and he fled on foot, according to police. The investigation is continuing, and the police had no additional comments on the incident, according to Det. Sgt. Shant Bedrossian.
  • Someone reported a burglary in the 1300 block of Dill Road on Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. According to the victim, someone went into his locked garage and stole tools and a power washer.
  • Someone reported on Sept. 9 that a car had been keyed in the 700 block of Humphreys Road.
  • Someone in the 2400 block of Darby Road reported Sept. 5 that someone made two purchases with his credit card without his permission or knowledge.
