Residents Report Vandalized Political Signs

They told Haverford Police paint was thrown on them.

The following incident reports were provided by the Haverford Township Police Department. Arrest does not suggest conviction.

Theft at the 2800 block of Haverford Road on 10/31 9:18 a.m. Victim reported that someone removed unsecured metals from his rear yard.

Vandalism at the 300 block of Exeter Road on 10/31 10:52 a.m. Two outdoor lights were shot with a pellet gun causing damage to the glass globes.

Vandalism at the 1100 block of Bon Air Avenue on 11/1 3:30 hours a.m. A vehicle was egged.

Liquor Law Violation at Farwood and Township Line Roads on 11/1 12:17 a.m. A juvenile was cited for underage drinking and curfew law.

Burglary at the 1400 block of Ashton Road on 11/2 5:52 a.m. Police responded to the above location for an interrupted burglary. The subject forced entry through a side door. The residence owner observed the subject in a bedroom looking through his nightstand. After a struggle the subject fled though a window. Police later captured the subject, Christopher Malkowicz, near West Chester Pike. Malkowicz was arrested and charged.

Liquor Law Violation at the Skatium (1000 block of Darby Road) on 11/2 at 7:33 p.m. A juvenile was cited for underage drinking.

Theft at Kohl's (200 block of West Chester Pike) on 11/4 at 5:58 p.m. Victim reported that her purse was removed from her unattended shopping cart. The purse was later recovered in the store. $60 was missing.  

Vandalism at the 600 block of Malvern Road on 11/4 8:07 a.m. Numerous residents had paint thrown on their political signs.

Liquor Law Violation at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue) on 11/4 at 1:03 a.m. Police were dispatched for alcohol poisoning. Natalia Gutierrez-Jones, 18, of the 500 block of Mountain Drive, Santa Barbara, CA, was transported to the hospital for treatment and cited for underage drinking. 

Public Drunkenness at the unit block of Brookline Boulevard on 11/4 at 3:20 p.m. Michael McGarrity, 38, of the 400 block of Kenmore Road, was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Theft at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue) on 11/5 at 2:15 p.m. Victim reported that her coat was stolen from a coat rack while she attended a party. Her iPhone and school ID were in the pocket.

Vandalism at the unit block of Shawnee Road on 11/5 9:03 a.m. Residence was egged.

Vandalism at the 2500 block of Huntington Lane on 11/5 9:03 a.m. Residence was egged.

Public Drunkenness at Sunoco (400 block of E. Township Line Road) on 11/5 at 6:45 p.m. Cathleen Coladonato, 45, of the 2200 block of Mary Lane, Broomall, was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Public Drunkenness at Manoa Tavern (unit block of Manoa Road) on 11/5 at 4:38 p.m. Michael McGarrity, 38, of the 400 block of Kenmore Road, was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.  

Receiving stolen property at Lawrence and Ellis Roads on 11/6 at 10:08 a.m. While conducting a vehicle the stop police found the trailer and trailer license plate were stolen. Jared Rumpeltin was arrested and charged.

Vandalism at Stacie's Taylor Shop (2400 block of Darby Road) on 11/6 at 8:10 a.m. The window was shot by a bb gun.
