Rash of Break-Ins This Weekend in Haverford Township

Haverford Township Police are investigating a number of break-ins that took place in the township over the weekend.

Haverford Township Police are investigating a number of break-ins that took place in the township over the weekend, a police Sergeant confirmed.

A resident of the Chatham Village neighborhood reported on Facebook that after returning home on Saturday afternoon she found "our front door kicked in, then found drawers pulled open upstairs. The thief passed by computers, TVs, video games, etc. and went straight for jewelry."

The resident said police came very quickly as they were already on the street because "there were two other break-ins this afternoon, with five reported last night in the immediate area."

A neighbor commented on the victim's post, saying they were burgled the night before. Jewelry was the target in that instance.
