Police: Vandals Egg Hawthorne Avenue Property, Cars

Haverford Police say the incident occurred on December 8.

The following incident reports were provided by the Haverford Township Police Department. Arrest does not suggest conviction.

Narcotics at S. Eagle Road and Pearson Lane on December 5 at 3:18 p.m. While conducting a vehicle stop the driver, Michele O'Toole, attempted to conceal something in the center console. The officer detected an odor of burnt marijuana emanating from O'Toole's person and her eyes were blood shot and speech was lethargic. Marijuana, prescription medication and drug paraphernalia were discovered during the vehicle search. O'Toole was arrested and charged.

Liquor Law Violation at Dermond and Warrior Roads on December 6 at 11:05 p.m. Police observed a campfire in the park and located an underage drinking party. A juvenile was cited for underage drinking, Katherine Applegate, 18, of the 4400 block of Township Line Road, Matthew Ford, 18, of the 800 block of Terwood Road, Drexel Hill and Steven Silicato, 18, of the 200 block of Beatrice Lane, Aston were cited for public drunkenness and underage drinking. Carmen Cervella, 18, of the 800 block of Ormond Avenue, Drexel Hill, was cited for disorderly conduct.

Theft at Haverford College (300 block of W. Lancaster Avenue) on December 7 at 3:02 p.m. A  laptop was removed from an unattended backpack.

Fraud at the 700 block of Georges Lane on December 7 at 10:58 a.m. A victim reported that an unknown person made numerous purchases with her credit card without her permission or knowledge.

Vandalism at the 2600 block of Bala Lane on December 7 at 7:52 p.m. A residence was egged.

Fraud at the 300 block of Cherry Lane on December 8 at 2:21 p.m. A victim reported she lost her wallet. She later discovered unknown persons made multiple purchases with her credit cards.

Vandalism at the 1700 block of Hawthorne Avenue on December 8 at 10:29 a.m. A vehicle was egged.

Robbery at the Camera Shop (500 block of W. Lancaster Avenue) on December 10 at 3:08 p.m. An employee observed a white male leave the store with a Sony camera box without paying. The employee confronted the subject in his vehicle. The subject put the car in gear and hit him with his vehicle. Brendan Beck was arrested and charged. 

Vandalism at the 100 block of Columbus Avenue on December 10 at 6:14 p.m. An electrical wire was cut along a path of Christmas lights.

Theft at the 100 block of W. Township Line Road on December 11 at 1:30 p.m. 60 parking lot barriers were stolen from the construction site.
