Police Respond to Bike, iPod Thefts
The following information is provided by the Haverford Police Department. Arrests do not indicate guilt or conviction.
According to a release from the Haverford Township Police Department, police responded to the following incidents between August 1 and 8:
Retail Theft at Super Fresh (1300 block of West Chester Pike) on 8/1 @ 1625 hours - Two females placed numerous items in a bag and fled the store.
Theft at the 1600 block of Hampton Road on 8/1 @ 2012 hours - Unlocked vehicle was entered and an iPod was stolen.
Theft at the 500 block of Cumberland Road on 8/2 @ 1033 hours - Victim reported that jewelry was taken from her jewelry box.
Attempted Theft at the 900 block of Haverford Road on 8/2 @ 0823 hours - unknown persons entered a Pod storage shed but nothing appeared to be missing.
Theft at the 1400 block of Kingsley Road on 8/5 @ 2158 hours - Victim reported that someone smashed his window to his truck and stole a GPS, saw and drill.
Bicycle Theft at Beechwood Station (1400 block of Edgewood Road) on 8/5 @ 2336 hours.
Bicycle Theft at Penfield Station (100 block of Septa Line) on 8/7 @ 2046 hours.
Theft at the 1000 block of West Chester Pike on 8/7 @ 1704 hours - cell phone was stolen.
Theft at Wawa (unit block of E. Eagle Road) on 8/7 @ 1102 hours - Unlocked vehicle was entered - loose change was stolen.
Theft at the 1400 block of Kingsley Road on 8/6 @ 0835 hours - Unlocked vehicle was entered - tools and $40 in loose change was stolen.
