Police: Men Attacked at Nineteen 19 Bar

Police say two men were jumped and assaulted by a group of six on December 22.

The following incident reports were provided by the Haverford Township Police Department. Arrest does not suggest conviction.

Theft at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue) on December 19 at 2:07 p.m. The victim reported he left his ring near the sink in the bathroom while he took a shower. When he returned the next day, the ring was missing.

Theft at the unit block of Columbus Avenue on December 19 at 5:23 p.m. Unknown persons removed an inflatable Christmas decoration.

Fraud at the 1200 block of West Chester Pike on December 19 at 2:34 p.m. Someone made multiple purchases using the victim's credit card without the victim's permission or knowledge.

Theft at the 900 block of Powder Mill Lane on December 20 at 10:32 p.m. An unlocked vehicle was entered and a coach bag containing numerous credit cards, gift cards, $60 and two cell phones was stolen.

Burglary at the 300 block of E. Manoa Road on December 21 at 4:07 p.m. The victim discovered his front door was forced opened and damaged. Three places appeared to have been disturbed but nothing was reported missing.

Theft at the 400 block of West Chester Pike on December 21 at 11:10 a.m. A vehicle was entered and credit cards were taken from the victim’s wallet.

Vandalism at the 200 block of Stanton Road on December 21 at 10:10 p.m. Christmas ornaments were damaged.

Simple Assault at 19 Nineteen Bar (1200 block of West Chester Pike) on December 22 at 2:30 a.m. Two males reported they were jumped and assaulted by a group of six unknown individuals after being involved in a verbal argument. They were transported to the hospital and treated for their injuries.

Fraud at the unit block of Vernon Road on December 22 at 3:07 p.m. The victim reported that someone made multiple purchases with her credit card without her permission or knowledge.

Vandalism at the 1200 block of West Chester Pike on December 22 at 2:47 a.m. A victim discovered dents and scratches on her vehicle.

Liquor Law Violation at the 1500 block of Annabella Avenue on December 22 at 7:57 p.m. Police were dispatched to the above location for a suspicious occupied vehicle. Two juveniles were located and the one was in possession of alcohol and cited for underage drinking.   

Public Drunkenness at Darby and Golf Roads on December 22 at 2:17 a.m. Police received a report of a male subject urinating in public. Benjamin Slater, 24, of the 100 block of Fawn Lane, was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Criminal Mischief at the Manoa Shopping Center (1300 block of West Chester Pike) on December 23 at 2:36 p.m.A vehicle tire was punctured.

Vandalism at the 2900 block of Oakford Road on December 23 at 10:50 a.m. A vehicle was egged.

Vandalism at the 100 block of Cedarbrook Road on December 23 at 5:15 p.m. An unknown person threw a rock at the victim's vehicle, causing damage to the hood and windshield.

Criminal Mischief at the 600 block of Woodland Drive on December 25 at 12:40 p.m. A vehicle tire was slashed.
