Haverford Police are investigating a number of recent burglaries and incidents of vandalism.

  • A resident of the 200 block of Shawnee Road reported on October 19 that someone stole jewelry from the home's master bedroom.
  • A resident of the 100 block of N. Ormond Avenue reported that around 2:30 p.m. on October 19 he was home when someone knocked on his door. The owner did not answer the door and moments later he said he saw two men walking up the steps to his second floor. The man called out to them and they fled the home, police say.
  • A resident of the 200 block of Whitemarsh Road reported that on October 20 someone broke into the home by prying a first floor window open. Jewelry, $50 and a handgun in a lock box was reported stolen.
  • A basement casement window of a home in the unit block of Ralston Avenue on October 22.
  • Shrubs and wire for Christmas lights were cut on a property in the 600 block of Ardmore Avenue on October 20.
  • Someone egged a home and wrote on their vehicle with a black marker in the 500 block of N. Eagle Road on October 18.
