Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with an attempted sexual assault in the Wissahickon section of Fairmount Park.

The attack happened at about 8 a.m. Monday morning, when a 17-year-old girl who was going for a jog “came upon a male who basically tackled her" to the ground, said Lt. Anthony McFadden, of the Philadelphia Police Department’s Special Victims Unit.

Theft–A Harcum College employee had an iPhone stolen from her desk at about
11:30 a.m. Monday, April 4.

BurglaryFresh pry marks were found on the front door of a home on the 700
block of Mount Morrow Road in Villanova at about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, April
5. The security alarm went off, apparently scaring off the intruder.

Public intoxicationJohn Bednarz, 21, of Emerson, N.J., and William Clarke, 21, of Short Hills, N.J., were arrested about 2 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, at the intersection of Lancaster Avenue and Roberts Road. Police said they were fighting, and they were charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Clarke’s blood-alcohol content was 0.16 and Bednarz’ was 0.18, police said.

Drug Possession–Valley Road at approximately 12:08 p.m. on April 6. During an unannounced probation and parole check of Charles Mulloy, Jr., 21, of Media’s residence, a small amount of marijuana and a glass, smoking device were found, State Police said. Tara Ciampaglia, 20, of Newtown Square was also arrested after trying to conceal items from agents, State Police said.

Domestic Dispute/Assault–Fairview Avenue at approximately 9:20 p.m. on April 6. State Police responded to a domestic altercation at the residence and charges are pending for a 43-year-old woman from Media, State Police said.

RobberyA teenage boy reported April 11, 3:05 p.m., that while he was at McDonald’s, 7800 Germantown Ave., he was threatened by another teenager, who took an iPod Touch, valued at $200, out of his pocket, police said. According to police, the suspect was still at the scene when they arrived, and the victim identified the 16-year-old boy, who was arrested at the scene and the iPod was returned.
