Police Blotter: Westgate Pub's 2 Deep Fryers Stolen

INCIDENTS:

Theft at the 400 block of West Chester Pike on 11/2 at 10:11 a.m. — Vehicle was entered — Swiss army Satchel containing a bank card was stolen.

Theft at Barnaby's (1900 block of Old West Chester Pike) on 11/2 at 1:08 p.m. — Vehicle window was shattered and a bag containing a laptop and reading glasses was stolen. 

Bicycle Theft at the unit block of Hannum Drive on 11/2 at 7:30 p.m.

Retail Theft at Kohl's (200 block of West Chester Pike) on 11/2 at 1:59 p.m. — Daniel Connor, 27, 1100 block of Lawrence Avenue, Darby, was cited for the retail theft of $60 worth of merchandise. 

Identity Theft at the Skatium (1000 block of Darby Road) on 11/2 at 4:45 p.m. — Victim reported that an unknown person made purchases with his debit card information without his permission or knowledge.

Narcotics at the Haverford Senior High School (200 block of Mill Road) on 11/2 at 9:49 a.m. — The assistant principal reported that a student was under the influence of drugs and in possession of drug paraphernalia. A 16-year-old white male was arrested and charged.

Public Drunkenness at West Chester Pike and Columbus Avenue on 11/2 at 2:10 a.m. — While on patrol an officer observed an intoxicated white male walking down the street. He was extremely unsteady on his feet and had trouble maintaining his balance. Vincent Cassidy, 47, 400 block of Glendale Road, was cited for public drunkenness.   

Theft at the Westgate Pub (1000 block of West Chester Pike) on 11/3 at 9:34 a.m. — Two deep fryers valued at $700 each were stolen from the back of the restaurant. 

Criminal Mischief at the 500 block of Maple Hill Road on 11/3 at 4:17 p.m. — Vehicle window was smashed.

Vandalism at Veterans Field (unit block of W. Manoa Road) on 11/3 at 10:27 a.m. — Graffiti was discovered in the baseball field dugout.  

Theft at the unit block of E. Eagle Road on 11/4 at 10:42 a.m. — Unknown person cut electric and plumbing lines from the rear of the building. 

Motor Vehicle Theft at the 100 block of Garfield Avenue on 11/4 at 10:29 a.m. — The victim reported that his enclosed trailer was stolen. The trailer contained musical instruments and amplifiers.  

Criminal Mischief at Waterford Apartment (1900 block of Lawrence Road) on 11/4 at 8:29 a.m. — Vehicle door locking mechanism was punched out. No entry was gained.

Liquor Law Violation at the 300 block of Darby Road on 11/4 at 8:34 p.m. — Jaclyn Prestileo,18, unit block of Nield Road, Springfield, Robert Capozzoli,19, unit block of Forest Street, Springfield and Scott Ondo,18, 500 block of Sherman Road, Springfield, were cited for possession of alcoholic beverage. 

Public Drunkenness at Darby Road and E. Mercer Avenue on 11/4 at 7:21 p.m. — Officers were dispatched for an intoxicated female. Upon arrival the subject was located staggering down the street. Laurie Cole, 52, 100 block of Strathmore Road was highly intoxicated and cited for public drunkenness.

Theft at West Chester Pike and Darby Road on 11/5 at 9:42 p.m. — Police received a report of a white male attempting to load a fire hydrant into his vehicle. Upon arrival the officer observed Thomas Lubraggie, 51, in possession of a fire hydrant with his vehicle trunk opened. Lubraggie was arrested and charged. 

Vandalism at the 1700 block of Karakung Drive on 11/5 at 10:50 a.m. — Graffiti was observed on the Little League Shack.

Narcotics at the 400 block of Brentwood Road on 11/5 at 10:24 p.m. — Officer reported to the above location for a suspicious vehicle. As the officer approached the vehicle he observed in plain view a rolled cigar, lying on the floor of the drivers' area. Also found was a small baggie containing marijuana. Jesse Hart, 18, was arrested and charged.

Bicycle Theft at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue) on 11/6 at 4:21 p.m. — A 14-year-old black male was arrested for the theft.

Liquor Law Violation at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue) on 11/6 at 1:09 a.m. — Officers were dispatched for an alcohol overdose. On location the officer observed Luke O'Brien under the influence of alcohol. O'Brien was unable to speak coherently, had poor balance and became argumentative towards EMS staff. O'Brien, 20, 800 block of Ardmore Avenue, was cited for public drunkenness and underage drinking and transported to the hospital for treatment.

Criminal Mischief at Veterans Field (unit block of W. Manoa Road) on 11/7 at 10:40 a.m. — Graffiti was observed in the dugout of the baseball field.

Theft at the unit block of S. Eagle Road on 11/7 at 10:47 a.m. — Victim reported that over 200 feet of copper wiring was stolen from his property. 

Vandalism at the unit block of Fairfield Road on 11/8 at 3:45 p.m. — Victim reported that an unknown person put an "X" made out of duct tape on his front door.

Drug Equipment Violations at Earlington and Township Line Roads on 11/8 at 11:13 p.m. — While on patrol officer's observed a white male solicit a ride. The officer conducted a vehicle stop and the driver stated that he did not know his passenger; he was driving him to the gas station. The passenger was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Christopher Potter was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and pedestrians soliciting rides.
