Police Blotter: 'Rumble' At Chatham Park School

INCIDENTS:

Theft at the Quadrangle (3300 block of Darby Road) on 6/22 at 11:20 a.m. — Victim reports that jewelry was stolen from her room. Missing pieces include a strand of pearls, a silver and turquoise necklace, and a tennis bracelet.

Fraud at the 1700 block of Robinson Avenue on 6/22 at 9:57 p.m. — Victim reports that an unknown person made fraudulent purchases totaling $ 648.53 without her permission.

Theft at Ardmore Village (700 block of Ardmore Avenue) on 6/22 at 5:26 a.m. — Victim reports that during the overnight hours an unknown person smashed her front passenger window and stole her purse which contained cash, PA drivers' license and several credit cards.

Theft at The Keepers of Time (unit block of Eagle Road) on 6/23 at 12:18 p.m. — Victim reports that an unknown person stole a watch from his display case.

Criminal Mischief at the Skatium (1000 block of Darby Road) on 6/23 at 10:26 p.m.— Police confronted a group of juveniles in front of the Skatium asking them to leave. One juvenile became confrontational, refusing to leave. The juvenile spit on the ground in front of police and began shouting vulgarities. During a search of the juvenile, officers found Sharpie markers. The 15-year-old male was cited for Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct.

Burglary at the 600 block of Haverford Road on 6/24 at 7:10 p.m. — Victim reports that upon returning home, she saw a black male, approximately 12 years old, fleeing out of the back door of her residence. Entry was gained through a window screen at the back of her residence. The victims’ cell phone was stolen off of her dining room table.

Vandalism at the 2300 block of Haverford Road on 6/24 at 9:15 a.m. — Victim reports that an unknown person removed the glass off of her side mirror on her car. Victim also noticed several scratches in the same area.

Vandalism at the 500 block of Twin Oaks Drive on 6/24 at 9:56 p.m. — Victim reports that a group of juveniles were hanging around his truck. The truck sustained damage to the passenger side rear door. 

Theft at the 1000 block of Weller Street on 6/25 at 11:18 a.m. — Victim reports that an unknown person stole his lawn mower from his unsecured shed.

Attempted Theft at Radio Shack (1300 block West Chester Pike) on 6/25 at 3:13 p.m. An unknown black male attempted to purchase an iPad with a fraudulent gift card. The subject fled the scene when the employee questioned him.

Simple Assault at Chatham Park School (400 block of Allston Road) on 6/25 at 7:59 p.m. — Officers were dispatched to the above location for an assault that had just occurred. Victim reports that while playing basketball with his friends, a group of juveniles arrived. The juveniles stated that they wanted to rumble. The victim and his friends tried to leave.  A juvenile knocked the victim to the ground and began punching him in his head and body with closed fists. A14-year-old male was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and Disorderly Conduct.

Liquor Laws at the 1500 block of West Chester Pike on 6/25 at 12:59 a.m. — Officers dispatched to the above location for an intoxicated subject. Bryan Edward Delahunty, 20, 1400 block of Windsor Park Lane, Havertown was cited for Underage Drinking, Public Drunkenness and Carrying a False Identification Card.

Disorderly Conduct at the Super Fresh (1300 block of West Chester Pike) on 6/25 at 6:51 p.m. — Victims report that while trying to park in a parking spot, they were cut off by a black Nissan. The male and female exited the vehicle and began yelling and threatening the victims. Sean Mabus, 33, 2600 block of Darby Road, Havertown and Susan Nickel, 29, 2600 block of Darby Road, Havertown were cited for disorderly conduct.

Theft at the Hollow Run Apartments (1900 block of West Chester Pike) on 6/26 at 8:53 a.m. — Victim reports that an unknown person gained access to his vehicle by smashing the side back window. A gym bag with sneakers and clothes valued at $250 were stolen out his back seat. 

Theft at the 2300 block of Belmont Avenue on 6/26 at 9:36 a.m. — Victim reports that an unknown person smashed the passenger side window of his work truck and stole his work laptop from the back seat of the vehicle.

Theft at the Quadrangle (3300 block of Darby Road) on 6/26 at 3:35 p.m. — Victim reports that Oxycontin was stolen out of a secured lock box.

Disorderly Conduct at the 400 block of Glendale Road on 6/26 at 11:30 a.m. — While conducting a traffic selective for speeding at the above location, officer heard loud music which caused his windows to shake. The suspect was pulled over in Manoa Shopping Center. John Edward Iezzi, 19, 200 block of High Street, Sharon Hill was cited for disorderly conduct. 

Theft at Boccella's Deli (unit block of Eagle Road) on 6/27 at 1:36 p.m. — Victim reports that he left his AT&T cell phone on a table at the above location, he went back to retrieve it and it was gone.

Theft at the 600 block of Dayton Road on 6/27 at 9:55 a.m. — Victim reports that an unknown subject stole a bottle of methadone and a bottle of Percocet from the glove box of his unsecured vehicle.

Public Drunkenness at Bailey Park (600 block of Washington Avenue) on 6/27 at 2:31 a.m. — Police responded to the above location for an intended alcohol overdose. Ashleigh R. Morgan, 21, unit block of Gelding Lane, Horsham was cited for Public Drunkenness.

Theft at Kohl's (200 block of West Chester Pike) on 6/28 at 12:48 p.m. — Victim reports that while shopping at Kohl's, an unknown person stole her red wristlet containing numerous credit cards.

Theft at Rite Aide (1300 block of West Chester Pike) on 6/28 at 2:50 p.m. — Victim reports that an unknown person stole a basket full of items from the store.

Vandalism at the 1100 block of Garfield Road on 6/28 at 1:09 p.m. — Victim reports that a group of juveniles have been throwing rocks at her garage windows causing them to break.
