Police Blotter: Over $3,400 Stolen In Identity Theft

INCIDENTS:

Disorderly Conduct at Veterans Field (unit block of W. Manoa Road) on 5/31 at 2:42 p.m. — Two white 15-year-old males were cited for disorderly conduct for fighting in the park.

Criminal Mischief at the 400 block of Upland Road on 5/31 at 11:53 p.m. — Victim reported that a person known to him struck his vehicle with an object causing dents on the hood, driver’s door and on the rear quarter panel.

Theft at the unit block of S. Eagle Road on 6/1 at 10:16 p.m. — Victim reported that she gave an unknown Hispanic male a ride in her vehicle. As the subject exited the vehicle she observed him taking a $20 bill from her purse.

Simple Assault at the 800 block of Clifford Avenue on 6/1 at 10:02 a.m. — Police were dispatched to the above residence for a domestic situation in progress. As the officer approached he could hear a female crying and screaming. The victim had sustained a mouth injury and her arm was cut several times. Michael Samango was arrested and charged.

Burglary at The Oakmont Pub (unit block of E. Eagle Road) on 6/2 at 1:21 p.m. — An unknown person gained entry through a broken window and stole a box containing $300.

Liquor Law Violation at the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Avenue on 6/2 at 8:08 p.m. — In an attempt to locate a missing juvenile, officers observed a group of juveniles in the above residence. A 16-year-old white female admitted to consuming alcohol and marijuana prior to police arrival and was cited for underage drinking.

Liquor Law Violation at Washington and Garfield Avenue on 6/3 at 1:38 a.m. — While on patrol police observed two subjects staggering down the street. Rose Winter and Scott Fina were highly intoxicated and had bloodshot eyes. Winter, 20, 100 block of Printz Avenues, Norwood, was cited for underage drinking and public drunkenness and Fina, 21, 100 block of Columbus Avenue, was cited for public drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness at West Chester Pike and Manoa Road on 6/3 at 10:09 p.m. — Jenniferlyn Zegura, 25, 4700 block of Darrah Street, Philadelphia, was cited for public drunkenness. 

Theft at the unit block of Scarlet Oak Drive on 6/4 at 11:42 a.m. — Victim reported that jewelry was stolen from her bedroom.

Identity Theft at the 100 block of Rockwood Drive on 6/4 at 8:59 p.m. — Victim reported that an unknown person opened multiple credit card accounts and made purchases over $3,400 without his permission or knowledge.

Vandalism at the 100 block of Glen Arbor Road on 6/4 at 6:05 p.m. — Glass picnic table was shattered.

Vandalism at the 1500 block of West Chester Pike on 6/5 at 5:55 p.m. — Rock was thrown through vehicle window.

Narcotics at Woodmere Way and Earlington Road on 6/5 at 1:07 a.m. — While conducting a traffic stop police found the driver and two passengers to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. George Cordivari, Matthew Donaldson and Brandon Spada were arrested and charged.
