Police Blotter: Narcotics Arrest on West Chester Pike

The following information comes from the Haverford Township Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

INCIDENTS:

Burglary (forced entry) at the 800 block of West Chester Pike on 11/17 at 2:56 p.m.—Victim reported that when he returned from work his apartment door was open and his jar filled with change was missing.

Theft at the 100 block of terra Alta Circle on 11/17 at 9:15 a.m.—A mailbox was stolen.

Theft at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue) on 11/17 at 9:16 a.m.—Victim reported that a satchel containing his wallet and iPhone was stolen from the outdoor running track. The satchel and iPhone were later recovered.

Motor Vehicle Theft at the 600 block of Cricket Avenue on 11/17 at 3:35 p.m.—Victim reported that his son let an associate borrow his vehicle and he never returned it.

Fraud at the 1200 block of Township Line Road on 11/17 at 11:09 a.m.—An unknown person made twelve fraudulent charges using the victim's debit card without her permission or knowledge.

Burglary (no force) at the 600 block of Ashurst Road on 11/18 at 7:22 p.m.—Victim reported that an unknown person entered his unlocked vehicle and went through his glove box. The subject then entered his unlocked residence and stole a laptop and a purse.

Theft at the 200 block of Canterbury Road on 11/18 at 9:26 a.m.—Unlocked vehicle was entered and two iPods and loose change were stolen.

Fraud at the 400 block of Glendale Road on 11/18 at 4 p.m.—Victim reported that an unknown person made multiple purchases using her debit card without her permission or knowledge.

Criminal Mischief at the unit block of Buck Lane on 11/18 at 9:44 a.m.—A vehicle was keyed.

Criminal Mischief at Veteran's Field (unit block of Manoa Road) on 11/18 at 7:36 p.m.—Graffiti was observed.

Criminal Mischief at the unit block of Vernon Road on 11/19 at 3 p.m.—A sticker was placed on the bumper of the victim's vehicle.

Criminal Mischief at the 1800 block of Robinson Avenue on 11/19 at 10:19 p.m.—A vehicle was keyed.

Liquor Law Violation at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue) on 11/20 at 12:07 a.m.—Officers were dispatched for an alcohol overdose fall with head trauma. Ruben Monarrez was highly intoxicated and unable to stand without assistance. Monarrez, W/M/20, 10000 block of Schiller Boulevard, Franklin Park, IL, was transported to the hospital for treatment and cited for underage drinking.

Liquor Law Violation at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue) on 11/20 at 12:56 a.m.—Officers responded to the above location for an alcohol overdose. Jacqueline Fagan, W/F/19, unit block of Decision Way Road, Washington Crossing, was transported to the hospital for treatment and cited for underage drinking.

Theft at Eagle Court Apartments (1200 block of West Chester Pike) on 11/21 at 8 a.m.—Unlocked vehicle was entered and a purse was stolen that contained cash, a bank card, and prescription pills.

Theft at Bailey Park (600 block of Washington Avenue) on 11/21 at 4:15 p.m.—Victim reported that his young daughter's scooter was stolen by an unknown actor while they played on the playground.

Vandalism at the 2600 block of County Line Road on 11/21 at 8:59 a.m.—A driver side mirror was damaged.

Theft at Shogun Japanese Steakhouse and Mandarin Kitchen on 11/22 at 1:03 p.m.—Used cooking oil was stolen from a locked drum in the back of the restaurant.

Narcotics at the 900 block of West Chester Pike on 11/22 at 7:56 a.m.—While conducting a vehicle stop the officer observed the vehicle and the driver fit the description of a reported hit and run accident. The driver appeared extremely nervous and it appeared he was attempting to conceal something. The subject provided the officer with false identification and was arrested and charged. After placing Michael Cunningham in custody, officers located a small knife and a baggie with marijuana.
