Police Blotter: Man Steals Gas

A homeowner reports that a box of checks were stolen from the home.

INCIDENTS:

Identity Theft at the 1600 block of Robinson Avenue on 3/2 at 4:55 p.m. — Victim reported that an unknown person attempted to open a credit card account using his identity.

Burglary at the 1600 block of Melrose Avenue on 3/3 at 4:24 p.m. — Victim reports that she came home and noticed her den window open and her cat outside. Nothing appeared to be taken.

Burglary at 200 East Benedict Avenue on 3/4 at 11:41 a.m. — Victim reports that sometime overnight an unknown person entered her window and stole a box of PNC personal checks. No signs of forced entry.

Retail Theft at Kohl's (200 block of West Chester Pike) on 3/4 at 2:42 p.m. — A 17-year-old female was cited for stealing $108 worth of merchandise.

Public Drunkenness at the 2300 block of Darby Road on 3/5 at 11:25 p.m. — Officers were dispatched for an intoxicated subject asleep in the lobby of the apartment. Upon arrival officers located Patrick Gorman passed out in a bush. Gorman, 53, unit block of East Eagle Road, Havertown was cited for public drunkenness.

Theft at the unit block of Hannum Drive on 3/7 at 1:04 p.m. — Victim reports that four DVD's were stolen from his locked dorm.

Theft at the 1500 block of Lynnewood Road on 3/7 at 10:21 a.m. — Victim reports that her wallet containing driver's license, health insurance card, two gift cards, and miscellaneous cards was stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

Vandalism at Preston Park (800 block of Martin Avenue) on 3/7 at 12:04 p.m. — Victim reports that an unknown person broke a flowerpot that she placed at the entrance of the park, which she tends to every year. The flowerpot was valued at $108.00.

Theft at Getty Gas Station (100 block of Eagle Road) on 3/8 at 9:30 a.m. — The owner reported that on two separate occasions the same male received gas from his station and did not pay for it. The suspect left his drivers license and cancelled credit card and indicated that he would return to pay. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
