Simple assault: Police responded to a domestic dispute at about 6 p.m. July 27 on the 700 block of Fordham Road in Bala Cynwyd.
When officers arrived, they observed a man bleeding from his face. Police arrested a second man, David Schwadron, 42, of the 400 block of W. Lancaster Avenue in Haverford and charged him with simple assault, a second degree misdemeanor and with harassment, police said. The incident occurred at Schwadron's ex-wife's house, police said. Schwadron was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Henry Schireson and was released on his own recognizance on $5,000 unsecured bail, on the condition he had no contact with his victim or with his ex-wife, police said.

INCIDENTS as reported by the Haverford Township Police Department's Police Blotter:

Theft at the unit block of Shawnee Road on 7/27 at 2:01 p.m. — Victim reported that her wallet was stolen in May and $900 worth of merchandise was charged on her credit card. 

Vandalism at the unit block of Rodman Avenue on 7/27 at 9:02 hours — vehicle was keyed.

Disorderly Conduct at W. Manoa and W. Darby Roads on 7/27 at 9:49 p.m. — Victim was struck with an egg while he was walking. 

Theft at the 500 block of Mill Road on 7/28 at 10:59 a.m. — Real estate agent reported that a refrigerator and two table saws were stolen from a vacant property he has listed. He also reported that empty beer cans were found in the house.

Burglary at the 700 block of Rugby Road on 7/29 at 12:17 p.m. — Victim reported that an unknown person gained entry into his residence through a rear window and stolen jewelry and silverware. 

Theft at the Quadrangle (3300 block of Darby Road) on 7/29 at 2:47 p.m. — A former employee stole a washer and dryer from a cottage.

Theft at the 1000 block of Delaware Avenue on 7/30 at 11:04 a.m. — A laptop and check book were stolen from the victim's residence.

Theft at the 3000 block of Darby Road on 7/30 at 11:27 a.m. — Five copper down spouts were stolen.

Theft at the 1300 block of Dermond Road on 7/31 at 8:30 a.m. — Unlocked vehicle was entered — iPod was stolen. 

Theft at the 100 block of Flintlock Road on 7/31 at 8:30 p.m. — Unlocked vehicle was entered — GPS and loose change were stolen.

Theft at the 100 block of Signal Road on 7/31 at 11:04 a.m. — Vehicle was entered — a cup holder, cash and an iPod charger were stolen.

Theft at the 100 block of Flintlock Road on 7/31 at 8:15 p.m. — Unlocked vehicle was entered — loose change, CD's, registration sticker and plate were stolen.

Theft at the 200 block of Ivy Rock Lane on 7/31 at 8:49 p.m. — A lawn mower was stolen from the victim's front lawn. 

Theft at West Chester Pike and Darby Road on 8/1 at 10:45 p.m. — Victim reported that he dropped his wallet while crossing the street. While waiting to cross back over to pick it up a vehicle stopped and a black male took the wallet. 

Attempted Theft at the 100 block of Signal Road on 8/1 at 9:11 a.m. — Victim reported that her unsecured vehicle was entered and rummaged through. Nothing was reported missing.

Criminal Mischief at the Haverford Middle School (1800 block of Darby Road) on 8/1 at 12:31 p.m. — The construction foreman reported that the cab windshield of the excavator had been smashed.

Vandalism at the 1400 block of Virginia Avenue on 8/1 at 10:04 p.m. — Three posts on the victim's railing were knocked out.

Theft at the unit block of E. Eagle Road on 8/2 at 9:01 a.m. — Copper wire and plug was taken from a truck. 

Theft at the 400 block of Darby Road on 8/2 at 2:40 p.m. — Victim reported that a white male has been taking scrap metal from the victim’s dumpster. The same subject stole an exhaust system from his yard. 

Attempted Retail Theft at Rite Aid (1300 block of West Chester Pike) on 8/2 at 5:09 p.m. — An employee reported that he witnessed a white male stuffing boxes of gum in his backpack. The subject returned the gum and fled the store when he was confronted.
