Police Blotter: Home Gets Egged, Items Stolen From Purse

INCIDENTS:

Bicycle Theft at the Haverford Middle School (1800 block of Darby Road) on 6/14 at 5:30 p.m.

Criminal Mischief at the 400 block of Olympic Avenue on 6/14 at 5:30 p.m.— vehicle was keyed. 

Theft at the 2700 block of Haverford Road on 6/15 at 7:14 p.m. — Victim reported that she left her purse on the grass within the fence of her property unattended for 10 minutes to retrieve her dog. When she returned her purse, containing an iPhone, sunglasses, checkbook, cash, credit cards and jewelry was stolen. Police located some of the belongings in a nearby park.

Theft at the 100 block of Signal Road on 6/16 at 12:19 p.m. — Vehicle registration was stolen.

Theft at the unit block of Vernon Road on 6/16 at 6:52 p.m. — The victim discovered prescription medication missing from her bedroom after hosting a party. 

Retail Theft at Wawa (unit block of E. Eagle Road) on 6/16 at 3:45 p.m. —Liesel M. Spalding, 27, was cited for disorderly conduct for the retail theft of $6 worth of merchandise.

Theft at the 1400 block of Sunny Hill Lane on 6/17 at 4:40 p.m. — Victim reported that someone stole his tools when he left them unattended on the curb next to his vehicle.

Fraud at the 900 block of Powder Mill Lane on 6/18 at 3:13 p.m. — Victim reported that an unknown person made two fraudulent purchases using her credit card.

Narcotics at the 500 block of Ramblewood Drive on 6/18 at 9:16 p.m. — Police responded to the above location for the report of a suspicious person parking their vehicles in the cul de sac and walking in the woods. Police located the subjects and observed marijuana in the vehicle. James Foster admitted possession of the marijuana and was arrested and charged.

Drug Equipment Violations at Glendale Road and West Chester Pike on 6/18 at 11:45 a.m. — While on location for a domestic report the subject was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Anthony Gadsden was arrested and charged.

Theft at McCandless Fuel Yard (100 block of Harvard Lane) 6/19 at 5:01 p.m. — skateboard was stolen.

Vandalism at Chatham Park School (400 block of Allston Road) on 6/19 at 10:12 a.m. — Two swing seats were cut and a chain to another swing was broken.

Vandalism at the unit block of Lincoln Avenue on 6/19 at 1:05 p.m. — vehicle was keyed.

Vandalism at Veterans Field (unit block of W. Manoa Road) on 6/19 at 8 p.m. — Graffiti was discovered on the field house.

Vandalism at the 100 block of E. Golf View Road on 6/19 at 9:18 p.m. — Victim reported that an unknown person egged her residence breaking a window screen.
