Police Blotter: Florida Woman Cited For Public Drunkenness

Fraud at the 100 block of Lee Circle on 7/6 at 2:21 p.m. — Victim reported that an unknown person opened a credit card account using her identity and attempted to make a purchase.

Theft at the 400 block of Ardmore Avenue on 7/6 at 6:58 p.m. — Vehicle was entered — GPS and cash were stolen.

Burglary at the 1600 block of West Chester Pike on 7/7 at 12:26 p.m. — An unknown subject gained entry into the residence by breaking the basement window. A laptop computer was stolen.  

Theft at the 100 block of Flintlock Road on 7/7 at 12:19 p.m. — Victim reported that jewelry was stolen from her jewelry box.

Vandalism at the 2000 block of Laurel Road on 7/8 at 6:02 a.m. — Unknown person damaged two freshly poured concrete sidewalk slabs by writing names and symbols on them.

Theft at the 700 block of Aubrey Avenue on 7/9 at 2:13 p.m. — Two chairs were stolen from the victim's deck.

Public Drunkenness at Kindred Hospital (2000 block of Old West Chester Pike) on 7/9 at 1 a.m. — Officers were dispatched for a subject passed out behind the hospital. Upon arrival officers observed Beth Leann Aamodt, laying face down. Aamodt was highly intoxicated and unable to answer simple questions. Aamodt, 37, 2300 block of Meadow Cove Boulevard, Melbourne, Fla., was taken into custody and cited for public drunkenness. 

Theft at Wawa (1000 block of Darby Road) on 7/10 at 4:28 p.m. — Store manager reported that a white male put four sandwich wraps in his backpack. When he was confronted he put the sandwiches back and fled the store.

Vandalism at Sukho Thai Cuisine (unit block of E. Eagle Road) on 7/11 at 10 p.m. — The business owner reported that someone sprayed her door with silly string and dumped a bag of cotton balls outside of the entrance.

Vandalism at the 100 block of Tunbridge Circle on 7/11 at 6:20 p.m. — Two outdoor lights were damaged.

Vandalism at Hilltop Field (1300 block of Bon Air Terrace) on 7/11 at 7:11 p.m. — Lock was cut on the water line.

Fraud at the 600 block of Furlong Road on 7/11 at 8:23 p.m. — An unknown person attempted to make a purchase with the victim's debit card without her permission or knowledge.  

Fraud at the unit block of Meadows Lane on 7/11 at 5:44 p.m. — Victim reported that an unknown person made purchases using her business credit card without her permission.

Theft at the 400 block of Kenmore Road on 7/11 at 2:19 p.m. — Center caps were removed from the victim's vehicle.

Criminal Mischief at the 2100 block of Haverford Road on 7/12 at 12:10 p.m. — Victim reported that the lock to her screen porch was broken at her vacant residence.
