Attempted Bicycle Theft at the 2900 block of Sunnybrook Lane on 8/3 at 8:06 p.m. — Unknown people attempted to steal three bicycles. The victim gave chase and the suspects fled.

Narcotics at Burger King (200 block of West Chester Pike) on 8/3 at 8:01 p.m. — While on patrol checking for drug activity the officer observed a white male attempt to conceal something in his vehicle. The subject, William Scharr, was in possession of Percocet and admitted that he was going to sell it. Scharr was arrested and charged.

Public Drunkenness at the 300 block of Cherry Lane on 8/3 at 1:24 p.m. — Officers were dispatched for the report of a male soliciting magazine subscriptions. Officers located the subject and he was highly intoxicated. Daniel Vermeer, 29, 6400 block of 707th Rd., Salem, NE, was cited for public drunkenness and township ordinance for soliciting. 

Bicycle Theft at the 100 block of Strathmore Road on 8/4 at 7:38 p.m.

Theft at Haverford Road and Ardmore Avenue on 8/4 at 12:07 p.m. — An unknown person removed several feet of copper ground wire from the cell tower. 

Retail Theft at Kohl's (200 block of West Chester Pike) on 8/4 at 3:09 p.m. — A white 16-year-old male was cited for the retail theft of $102 worth of merchandise.

Theft at the 1900 block of E. Darby Road on 8/4 at 7:14 a.m. — A registration plate was stolen from the victim's vehicle.

Burglary at the unit block of Foster Avenue on 8/5 at 10:55 p.m. — An unknown person forced his or her way into the residence through a window and stole a watch and a large amount of cash.

Vandalism at the 100 block of Morlyn Avenue on 8/5 at 6:55 p.m. — Vehicle window was smashed.

Aggravated Assault at the 300 block of Crescent Hill Drive on 8/6 at 3:18 p.m. — The victim reported that his brother struck him with a golf club causing a bruise and open wound. James Stenson was arrested and charged.

Theft at the 400 block of Llanerch Avenue on 8/6 at 6:13 p.m. — A milk jug with approximately $200 in change and prescription drugs were stolen from the residence.

Fraud at the 200 block of Old Forrest Road on 8/6 at 2:25 p.m. — Victim reported that two unauthorized purchases were made with his debit card.

Vandalism at Upland and Shelbourne Roads on 8/6 at 6:36 a.m. — Victim reported that his Upper Darby Police vehicle's tires were slashed. 

Vandalism at Paddock and Wendy Roads on 8/6 at 5:02 a.m. — Haverford Township Police vehicle's tires were slashed.

Burglary at the 200 block of E. Golfview Road on 8/8 at 5:02 p.m. — Unknown people gained entry into the residence through a basement door and stole two laptop computers, jewelry, loose change, pillowcases and a suitcase.

Theft at the unit block of Brookline Boulevard on 8/8 at 7:43 p.m. — Unlocked vehicle was entered — a suitcase containing clothes, iPod and jewelry was stolen.

Theft at the Middle School (1700 block of E. Darby Road) of 8/8 at 8:21 a.m. — The construction crew reported that a large quantity of steel had been taken.

Retail Theft at Kohl's (200 block of West Chester Pike) on 8/9 at 2:25 p.m. — A black 15-year-old male was cited for the retail theft of $138 worth of merchandise and a 14-year-old black male was cited for the theft of $44 worth of merchandise.

Criminal Mischief at the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue on 8/9 at 11:10 a.m. — Vehicle was egged.
