Over $52,000 Stolen in Haverford Burglary, Police Say

Among the missing items were $35,000 in currencies and a $7,500 wedding ring.

According to Lower Merion Police Department, between Dec. 27 and Dec. 31, thousands of dollars worth of valuables were stolen from a home on the 300 block of Grays Lane in the Haverford section of Lower Merion.

A housekeeper discovered ransacking throughout the house on Dec. 31 and alerted the homeowners, who were vacationing in Aspen.

There were no signs of force to the house, but "numerous people" had access to the house while the homeowners were gone, including employees and contractors, police said.
