Havertown Man Arrested After Allegedly Fleeing the Scene of Accident

Police say Michael McNamara caused a three-car accident, then drove off.

A Havertown man was arrested yesterday after he left the scene of a three car accident he allegedly caused in Wayne, the Main Line Media News is reporting.

According to the report, Michael McNamara, 32, was driving westbound on Lancaster Avenue when Radnor Police say he rear-ended a vehicle that was stopped, pushing that car into another that was waiting to make a left hand turn into Starbucks.

McNamara didn’t stop, continuing westbound away from the accident. One of the cars he’d hit was able to provide a description to police though, and he was arrested later that day near Devon Nissan.
