Haverford Police Report Vandalism at Llanerch Country Club

30 plants were ripped from the ground on November 14.

The following incident reports were provided by the Haverford Township Police Department. Arrest does not suggest conviction.

Vandalism at Llanerch Country Club (900 block of West Chester Pike) on 11/14 at 2:27 a.m. Unknown actors ripped approximately 30 plants from the ground and threw them into the travel lanes of West Chester Pike.

Fraud at the 900 block of Haverford Road on 11/14 at 3:11 p.m. Victim reported that a person known to her made unauthorized withdrawals from her checking account.

Theft at the unit block of Garlor Drive on 11/15 at 7:02 p.m. An unlocked vehicle was entered, loose change was stolen.

Worthless Checks at John's Sneakers (600 block of Pont Reading Road) on 11/15 at 5:36 p.m. The store owner reported someone bought two pair of sneakers with a check. The subject returned later and told the victim the account was closed and was going to return and pay cash. The subject failed to return.

Theft at the unit block of Rodmor Road on 11/16 at 7:23 p.m. Victim discovered jewelry missing from her jewelry box.

Theft at the 800 block of Buck Lane on 11/19 at 7:15 a.m. An unlocked vehicle was entered, loose change was stolen.

Theft at the Barnaby's (1900 block of Old West Chester Pike) on 11/17 at 1:10 a.m. A cell phone was stolen.

Retail Theft at Ruth's Hallmark (1300 block of West Chester Pike) on 11/17 at 10:12 a.m. A white female stole over $100 worth of merchandise and fled the store.

Vandalism at the 800 block of Penn Street on 11/17 at 8:06 a.m. A street sign was damaged.

Narcotics at West Chester Pike and Washington Avenue on 11/17 at 9:21 p.m. During a traffic stop, the driver provided the officer with false identification. It was determined the driver's license was suspended and the vehicle was towed. Prior to the tow an inventory search was conducted and marijuana and a smoking pipe was located. Candace Taylor was arrested and charged. 

Liquor Law Violation at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue) on 11/17 at 2:14 a.m. Police responded to the above location for alcohol overdose. Elizabeth Barter, 20, of the 100 block of N. Merion Avenue, Bryn Mawr, was transported to the hospital for treatment and cited for underage drinking.

Liquor Law Violation at Haverford College on 11/17 at 4:21 a.m. A juvenile was cited for underage drinking.

Public Drunkenness at Garfield and Roosevelt Avenues on 11/17 at 12:07 a.m. Eric Travis, 39, of the 1600 block of Mount Pleasant Road, was cited for public drunkenness.

Vandalism at W. Darby Road and W. Benedict Avenue on 11/18 at 11:33 a.m. Graffiti was discovered on the traffic control box.

Disorderly Conduct at Septa Ardmore Junction (500 block of W. Hathaway Lane) on 11/18 at 1:50 a.m. Marcus Richardson, 24, of the 200 block of Garvin Boulevard, was cited for disorderly conduct after fleeing from police after a fight on the trolley. 

Vandalism at Veterans Field (unit block of W. Manoa Road) on 11/19 10:18 p.m. A seat was pulled off of the picnic table.

Vandalism at Rosenberg Dentistry (2100 block of W. Darby Road) on 11/19 at 9:06 a.m. Graffiti was discovered on the side of the building.

Theft at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue) on 11/20 at 11:40 a.m. An iPhone was stolen while the victim was at a party.

Vandalism at Haverford Recycling Center (1000 block of Darby Road) on 11/20 at 8:03 a.m. Graffiti was discovered on one of the containers.

Vandalism on Darby Road on 11/20 at 2:40 p.m. Police received numerous reports of graffiti in the area.
