Haverford Police Investigate Thefts from Cars

A wallet and a Smith and Wesson revolver were among the items stolen.

Haverford Township Police are investigating a recent spate of thefts from cars. A wallet and a Smith and Wesson revolver were among the items stolen.

  • In the 2900 block of Berkley Road on August 13 at 8:35 a.m. - victim reports that $1.00 was taken out of her vehicle. It was parked, unlocked outside of her home.
  • In the 2900 block of Berkley Road on August 15 at 7:56 a.m. - victim reports that sometime overnight someone stole a Verizon WiFi Hotspot, Rayban Sunglasses, Registration Card, and an unknown amount of loose change from his vehicle.
  • In the 2900 block of Oakford Road on August 15 at 10:14 a.m. - victim reports that sometime overnight someone stole a wallet containing $250 in cash, a checkbook, debit card and PA driver's license out of her unlocked vehicle.
  • In the 2300 block of St. Denis Lane on August 15 at 5:42 a.m. - victim reports that sometime overnight someone stole a Smith and Wesson revolver from the glove compartment of his locked vehicle.
  • In the 2900 block of Berkley Road on August 15 at 8:41 a.m. - victim reports that sometime overnight someone stole a laptop from her unlocked vehicle.
  • In the 2900 block of Berkley Road on August 15 at 2:36 p.m. - victim reports that sometime overnight someone stole landscaping shears, a Toyota manual and two homemade CD's from his unlocked vehicle.
  • In the 2900 block of Berkley Road on August 15 at 7:00 a.m. - victim reports that sometime overnight someone stole his wallet containing TD Bank and Wells Fargo bank cards and identification cards along with unknown amount of loose change from his unlocked vehicle.
