Haverford High Student Arrested at School

Police say they found evidence on the teenager when he was arrested.

 

A Haverford High School student faces charges of public drunkenness, possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was arrested Monday at the school.

Haverford Police say they received a report of a student under the influence of a controlled substance at 10:21 a.m. Monday. According to police "the officer detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana as he entered the office." Police say the 18-year-old student "appeared confused and his eyes were bloodshot and glassy."

Police say the teen was in possession of marijuana and two unidentified pills when he was arrested.
