From Laptops to Loose Change, Things Disappearing from Havertown Cars

Haverford Township Police Department is investigating a spate of thefts from cars.

Haverford Township Police Department is investigating a spate of thefts from cars that took place during the week of June 10.

Sgt. Shant Bedrossian told Haverford Patch that police ask the residents to be the eyes and ears of the department and to call 911 if you hear or see anything suspicious.

He also reminded people to always lock the doors of their cars and homes.

The thefts took place:

  • In the 800 block of Martin Avenue on 6/10 - GPS was stolen.
  • In the 800 block of Martin Avenue on 6/10 - iPhone was stolen.
  • In the 1200 block of Fairview Avenue on 6/14 - GPS, iPod and loose change were stolen.
  • In the 600 block of Grand Avenue on 6/14 - Kindle Fire and loose change were stolen.
  • In the 1200 block of Steel Road on 6/14 - $50 was stolen.
  • In the 1200 block of Bon Air Avenue on 6/14 - $20 was stolen.
  • In the 1200 block of Bon Air Avenue on 6/14 - two pair of prescription glasses and loose change were stolen.
  • In the 1200 block of Fairview Avenue on 6/14 - loose change was stolen.
  • In the 1200 block of Bon Air Avenue on 6/14 - loose change was stolen.
  • In the 1200 block of Bon Air Avenue on 6/14 - a purse, cigarettes and loose change were stolen.
  • In the 300 block of Stanley Avenue on 6/16 - cell phone, phone charger, diaper bag, credit cards and checkbook were stolen.
  • In the 300 block of S. Manoa Road on 6/16 - laptop, iPhone charger and loose change were stolen.
  • In the 600 block of Grand Avenue on 6/16 - $60 was stolen.
  • In the 300 block of Stanley Avenue on 6/16 - loose change was stolen.
  • In the 300 block of Stanley Avenue on 6/16 - loose change was stolen.
  • In the 100 block of Sycamore Road on 6/18 - two new shirts, duffle bag and loose change were stolen.
  • In the 100 block of Upland Road on 6/18 - digital camera and loose change were stolen.
