Firefighters Respond To SUV Fire

No one was reported injured.

Llanerch Fire Company’s Engine 34 responded to a SUV fire on Manoa and Darby roads on Friday morning, said the company’s Deputy Chief/EMT Chris Millay.

It was not determined how the Ford Explorer caught on fire at around 9 a.m., but Millay said that the female driver was not injured. Her identity was not released.

“Everyone was out of the car by the time we got there,” Millay said, adding that Fire Chief John Roberts was on the scene.
