DUI Taskforce To Conduct Roving Patrols
The Northern Delaware County DUI Taskforce will be conducting patrols Friday night.
According to a press release to the media, the Northern Delaware County DUI Taskforce will conduct roving patrols Friday night, Sept. 23.
The press release, sent out by the Wednesday morning, stated that the taskforce will be conducting the roving patrols "within it's jurisdictional area."
That area comprises of six municipalities that include the townships of:

- Haverford
- Marple
- Newtown
- Radnor
- Springfield
- Upper Darby
Since the taskforce has started since September 2009, it has conducted 22 operations to date, the press release stated, noting that the taskforce has made various arrests and issuing citations.
"The taskforce has arrested 63 drivers for Driving Under the Influence
of alcohol or drugs, issued 23 citations for underage drinking, 338 citations and 275 warnings for other motor vehicle violations," the press release stated.
