Copper Wires Stolen from Rec Center and other Thefts in Haverford Township

Haverford Police are investigating a number of recently reported thefts.

  • A resident of the 2100 block of Darby Road reported that his credit card was stolen from his car during the weekend of October 5. He contacted his bank and was told that several unauthorized charges had been made.

  • An iPhone and loose change were reported stolen from cars in the unit block of E. Golf View Road on October 10.

  • A Verizon employee reported October 10 that two steel ground bars and four copper wires were stolen from the Haverford Recreation Center in the 9000 block of Parkview Drive.

  • A woman reported that her cell phone was stolen while she was riding on a Septa bus through Havertown on October 11.

  • An iPod was reported stolen from an unlocked car in the 800 block of Clifford Avenue on October 12.

  • Three potted plants were reportedly removed from front steps of a home in the 100 block of Rockland Road on October 14.
