Havertown Township Police are investigating a copper theft from a local church, the department confirmed Friday afternoon.
According to Sergeant Shant Bedrossian, six copper gutters were stolen from Trinity Lutheran Church the morning of October 10.
Bedrossian said the church reported the gutters are worth approximately $150 each.
The department does have a suspect. The church’s video surveillance system captured a white male in his 30s with tattooed arms removing the gutters. He wore a white tank top and athletic shorts at the time of the crime.
Bedrossian added the theft was the second of its kind in the township this month. On October 1, gutters were stolen from The Church of the Holy Apostles on Remington Road. There are no leads in the case.
