Car Stolen, Home Burgled in Police News

Read some recent reports of thefts and a burglary in Haverford Township.

Haverford Township Police are investigating a number of recently reported thefts and one burglary. Contact the police department if you have any information on the following crimes.

Forty dollars and a gas card were stolen from an unlocked car that was parked in the unit block of Upland Road on October 6.

A burglary was reported at a home in the 500 block of Grand Avenue on October 7. A homeowner reported that she saw two men running through her yard with bags when she returned home. The men had entered her home through a window, according to police. Two handguns and numerous other items were stolen.

Two AT&T copper ground bars were reported stolen from the Haverford Recreation Center on October 7.

A resident of the 200 block of East Golfview Road reported October 3 that jewelry had been stolen from the victim’s bedroom. (Related: Diamond Ring, Other Jewelry Reported Stolen from Homes)

An antenna was reported stolen from a car in the 1400 block of Windsor Park Lane on October 7.

A car was reported stolen from the 1400 block of Lawrence Road on October 7.
