Break-Ins Continue in Haverford Township

Read recent reports of burglary, criminal mischief and vandalism in Haverford Township.

After Haverford Township was hit with pre-Christmas burglaries, some break-ins have continued. Below are also reported acts of criminal mischief and vandalism.
  • A resident of the 1400 block of Lawrence Road reported Dec. 27 that just after midnight she heard footsteps downstairs in her house. When she went downstairs she found her window was open and the shades and drapes on the floor. Nothing was reported missing.
  • A 21-year-old Ardmore man was arrested and charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after reportedly burglarizing a home in the 2600 block of Chestnut Avenue on Dec. 29.
  • Copper water pipe and faucet fixtures were reportedly taken from a home in the unit block of Castle Rock Drive on Dec. 30. Someone had apparently broken the glass on the rear sliding door to the home.
  • A business owner in the unit block of Brookline Boulevard reported Dec. 30 that someone broke the front window and neon lighted sign of his business.
  • A resident of the 100 block of Glendale Road reported Dec. 27 that someone keyed her car while it was parked in front of her house.
  • A resident of the unit block of Lexington Avenue reported Dec. 27 that someone cut the wire of her Christmas decoration outside her home.
