Bank Robber in Roxborough is Sought in Haverford Incident

A Ridge Avenue bank was robbed just after noon Sunday, Philadelphia police say.

Philadelphia Police are searching for a bank robber after the second hold-up at the TD Bank Branch at 5501 Ridge Ave. in four days—a man they also believe robbed a Haverford bank this month.

Police Spokeswoman Officer Christine O'Brien said a man walked into the bank branch just after noon on Sunday. He gave the teller a note demanding money, O'Brien said. According to O'Brien, the man fled north on Ridge Avenue with $400 in cash. (see surveillance photos, right)
