Ardmore Man To Be Charged In Havertown 7-Eleven Robbery

Police believe he is the same man who robbed the 7-Eleven.

On Friday, June 1, Lower Merion Police "arrested" Ardick Alan Butler for a bank robbery on Lancaster Avenue.

Haverford Township police interviewed Butler, an Ardmore resident who lives at the 800 block of Loraine St., while he was in Lower Merion police custody.

According to Haverford Township police, Butler admitted to allegedly robbing the Havertown 7-Eleven.

"I responded to Lower Merion Headquarters and interviewed Butler in reference to the 7-11 robbery. Butler did admit to the 7-11 robbery," Haverford Township Detective Mark Johnson stated in an email. "Charges will be filed for the robbery and a detainer will be placed on Butler who is heading to Montgomery County Prison."
