Ardmore Man Arrested on Assault Charge

The following information comes from the Haverford Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate conviction or guilt.

According to a release from the Haverford Police Department, police responded to the following incidents during the week of August 9 to August 15:

Simple Assault at the 2700 block of St. Mary's Road on August 9 - A 48-year-old Armore man was arrested for assaulting his juvenile son causing scrapes and bruises on his shoulder, leg, forehead and eye.
 
Liquor Law Violation at Grasslyn Park (2100 block of Grasslyn Avenue) on August 9 - Police were dispatched to the above location for two juveniles drinking near the jungle gym. Two 16-year-old males were cited for underage drinking.
 
Identity Theft at the unit block of Fulmer Avenue on August 11 - An unknown person opened a credit card account using the victim's identity without her permission or knowledge.
