$14K in Valuables Stolen from Car, Police Say

It is just one of three cases of theft from cars in the past week in Haverford.

 

Haverford Police are investigating three cases of items stolen from cars in the township over the past week.

On April 11 Police got a report of a suitcase that was stolen from inside a car at 9:15 p.m. in the 2400 block of Whitby Road. Police say the suitcase contained two cameras and accessories valued at $14,000.

On April 12 at 2:36 p.m. police got a report saying that someone shattered a car window in the parking lot of LA Fitness in the 400 block of West Chester Pike. Police say a purse containing $300, credit cards ad a passport was stolen.

On Tuesday Haverford Police were called to the 2400 block of St. Denis Lane just after 9 a.m. According to police, a vehicle was entered and someone stole a wallet contating a credit card, a debit card and $10.
