John F. Ottaviano Sr., 91, Attended Haverford Schools

John F. Ottaviano Sr., 91, of Phoenixville, formerly Havertown, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013, in the Golden Living Community. 

Born in Bryn Mawr, he was a son of the late Louis and Josephine Ottaviano.   John attended Haverford Schools and served in the United States Army during World War II. 

He was employed for 30 years as a works foreman for Haverford Township.  

In addition to his loving wife, John is survived by his children, Michelle, wife of Michael Hawley, of Springfield and John Jr., husband of Kristine Ottaviano, of South Williamsport; sisters, Gladys Schaefer, of Broomall and Josephine Luciano, of West Chester; brother, Arthur, husband of Toni Ottaviano, of Ardmore; six grandchildren, Justin, Ryan and Lauren Ottaviano, Lyssa and Brooke Hawley, and Kristen Miller; and three great grandchildren, Haylee and Javon Ottaviano and Natalie Osbourne.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend John’s memorial service on Monday, December 16, 2013, at 12:00 p.m. at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. 

Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 pm.  Officiating will be the Rev. Gregg Smyrl.  Interment will follow in the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, at 1:30 p.m.   Condolences may be offered online at www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
