Eight hundred Delaware County choral students gather to share their love of music February 1st.

Members of the local community experience first-hand the value of choral education in our public schools.

Imagine eight-hundred middle school and high school students from throughout the Delaware Valley - including choral students from Haverford High School -  gathering in one place to share their talents. Imagine this annual event taking place every year for over twenty years at Upper Darby Performing Arts Center!

On Friday evening, February 1st at 7:30 pm choral students from Sun Valley High School, Unionville High School, Penncrest High School, Haverford High School, Drexel Hill Middle School, Beverly Hills Middle School and Upper Darby High School will perform. They will participate in the 21st Annual Inviational Choral Festival.

The choir members spend hours of rehearsal time preparing for the event. The choral students are enthusiastic about sharing their musical pieces with students from other schools who are as passionate and appreciative about music. Each ensemble performs for approximately fifteen minutes and all choirs gather to perform the finale “America the Beautiful.”
