Being a Student Is Hard When You're a Mother
I have a test this Saturday. Did I study? Yes I did, as well as took care of my family, went out to dinner, among many other tasks.
I have a test to take this Saturday. I thought I was done taking tests for a little while at least, but as I was gathering my papers together after I graduated, I realized that the school I attended did not inform me of this test.
Actually it was a classmate of mine that pointed it out after she realized that she also missed this test as well. How did a whole school and two students realize that this test was required? Well two out of three of the trio is a busy working mother. I plead Mommy.
Anyway, I have a test to take but I also have three children to care for, and work to attend daily, thank God. So have I studied? All weekend thank you very much. I also went to the Camden Aquarium on Friday with my daughter’s class, did endless amounts of laundry and barbequed and roasted marshmallows, of course.

In addition, I celebrated with my mom and sister at The Melting Pot for my graduation and continued at my job, which I have been really enjoying. I did try to study after work each night but by the time I am done and settled after work, I am ready for sleep.
I have three days to get cracking. I wish they gave extra points for parents ...
