This Weekend: Recycle Your Computer, Rock Out

Check out these weekend events in the Greater Philadelphia Area.

Haverford Music Festival

Where: Oakmont neighborhood, near Eagle and Darby Roads
When: Saturday, Sept. 15 from noon to 9:30 p.m.

What: The 2012 Haverford Music Fest will feature 30 bands on three stages, spanning the genres of rock, pop, jazz, blues and folk. The festival will also feature a beer garden, a craft village and local food vendors. The festival is all-ages and free to attend.

Radnor Fall Festival

Where: North Wayne Avenue, Wanye
When: Sunday, Sept. 16, from 1 to 5 p.m.

What: The Radnor Fall Festival will feature magic, face-painting, a dog show, live music, food and art from local vendors and an appearance by the Valley Forge Military Academy Marching Band.

Recycling Day at the Springfield Mall

Where: 1250 Baltimore Pike, Springfield
When: Saturday, Sept. 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

What: The Springfield Mall is offering free recycling on all electronics with a plug on Saturday. The following items will be accepted: TV's, computers, laptops, small appliances, microwaves, cameras, cell phones, air-conditioners, calculators, telephones, fax machines and more.
