In the mid-1980s Sean Quinn and his friends were WHHS staff members, forming life-long friendships. Earlier this year, hearing of Lower Merion Police Officer Sean Quinn's death, those same friends sent us a donation of $893 in his memory. The amount symbolically represents the frequency of WHHS in the 80s. Their efforts did not stop there. On September 20th, Sean's gang will be back at the helm of WHHS to spend some time remembering Sean and broadcasting some of his favorite tunes. Joining them before the show, Philly radio legend John DeBella will run a workshop for current WHHS staffers! Be sure to tune to 99.9 FM starting at 6 pm for some great tunes or stop by around 5 pm to join in on the tribute event.
