Community Corner

Parenting Film Series

The Haverford Township Free
Library, the School District of Haverford Township and the Haverford Township
Adult School will host a Parenting Film Series this fall at
Haverford Middle School.   The series
begins with the showing of the Race to Nowhere on Tuesday, October
1 at 7:00 pm.  Race to Nowhere features
stories of young people across the country who have been pushed to the brink,
educators working hard to prepare students for college while struggling with
burn out, and parents who are trying to do what’s best for their children.

There will be a community discussion after each film.  Community members, students, parents,
teachers, and school administrators are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The film series is free and
open to the public although registration is required.  To
register, go to www.haverfordlibrary.org/filmseries.
