Haverford College Public Observing/Halloween Event

Come join us this Halloween for a fun-filled night of Astronomy and candy-eating! Make your own paper bag space helmet or play with gooey alien slime collected from the far reaches of the Universe. Watch a humorous Simpson's clip of a black hole gobbling up Springfield, and learn which spooky black hole consequences are good physics and which are bad physics. And if that's not enough for you, come take a peek through the Strawbridge Observatory telescopes and explore the stars above (weather permitting).

Anyone who comes in an astro related costume gets a free astronomy book to take home as a prize!  (Quantities limited; Books will be new to you, but not new.)
