At 7:30pm on Thursday, October 10, Haverford College will be hosting a free public observing event for the community. The event will commence with a brief student talk titled, "The Death of a Star and The Birth of a Black Hole" (Lee Rosenthal '15). There will also be a fun, child appropriate astronomy related craft activity, light refreshments, and (weather permitting) telescope observing at Strawbridge Observatory.
