Free ADHD Seminar! Assessment & Management of Children with ADHD






The Haverford Township Rotary Club and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia will sponsor a special evening program to discuss the assessment and management of children with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) on April 23 at 7:30 p.m. The program will discuss updates on the assessment and mana

Thomas Power PhD will lead the discussion. He is the director of the Center for Management of ADHD and the chief psychologist in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. CHOP has recently been named the best children’s hospital in the country by U.S. News and World Report.

Dr. Power has extensive experience developing interventions for children and families coping with ADHD, and he is an expert in promoting the school success of these children and youth. He will discuss the latest research regarding effectiveness of behavioral treatments. Updates on medication treatment will also be discussed. Attendees will be encouraged to ask questions.
