Mainstage productions at Upper Darby Summer Stage aren’t just for kids! Professional on every level – directing, costuming, lighting design, full orchestra – Mainstage at Summer Stage features young adults from 18 – 28. This summer we proudly present, Fiddler on the Roof, winner of nine Tony Awards, including “Best Musical!” Fiddler on the Roof has captured the hearts of audiences all over the world with its universal story and unforgettable music. Set in 1906 in Russia, Fiddler tells the story of Tevye, a father who is trying to hold onto his family and traditions as the world changes around him. It parallels many of the struggles going on in our society today. Its music has become part of the fabric of our culture.
Two and a half hours. Rated G. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
