Montgomery County Celebrities to Judge Cookoff Final in Haverford

For the last 2 months, Chefs from all Brandywine Senior Living communties have been facing off against each other to see who is "Iron Chef – Best of the Best at Brandywine". The final three Chefs will compete this upcoming Tuesday, November 27th at Brandywine Senior Living at Haverford Estates in front of a celebrity panel of judges.  The celebrity judges are: Margaret Kuo, the famous Philadelphia restauranteur, Colleen Marrone from Delaware County Council and CEO of Goodwill Delco, Phil Heron, Editor of the Delaware County Times, and Jeff Heilman, Commissioner of 5th Ward of Haverford Township.

The competition was created and organized by Bret Jefferson, Corporate Director of Dining Services at Brandywine Senior Living. "We all Know Brandywine chooses quality chefs and has an outstanding talent pool in all of our communities. Our chef’s creations throughout this competition have been the talk of the town and rival any fine dining establishment! We are ready to see who has the winning recipe!" remarks Bret.

The final 3 remaining Chefs, are Chef Joseph Catlett from Brandywine Senior Living at Haverford Estates (Montgomery County, PA), Chef Michael Meshel from Brandywine Senior Living at Huntington Terrace (Long Island, NY), and Chef Richard Sheppard from Brandywine Senior Living at Pennington (Mercer County, NJ).

The Chefs will be cheered on by residents and employees from their communities and members of the Brandywine Senior Living Corporate staff. All attendees will enjoy a buffet dinner while the judges tally up the votes. There is limited space, so RSVP is required for anyone who wishes to be in attendance. RSVP to 610-527-1800.
