Friday Fright Fest

If your idea of a good time involves spine-chilling suspense or the heart-in-your-mouth thrill of a scary movie, get ready for the Friday Fright Fest from the Media Film Festival on October 26!

The Fest will take place at Delaware County Institute of Science on Veteran’s Square in Media from 7:30 to 10pm. With its gothic nineteenth-century atmosphere, straight out of a Creature Double Feature, DCIS offers the perfect setting for an evening of ghoulish fun.

The Fright Fest includes several short films—some by local filmmakers—as well as the 1959 horror classic, The House on Haunted Hill, starring Vincent Price. Critics called this classic “Campy and creepy in equal measures.”  The House on Haunted Hill is being presented with its legendary “EMERGO!” effect used in the film’s original theatrical release as ghosts fly right out of the screen.
