Forum for Haverford Commissioner Candidates Tuesday

The Haverford Township League of Women Voters will hold a Candidates Forum for those running for Township Commissioner.

On Tuesday, October 22 the Haverford Township League of Women Voters will hold a Candidates Forum for those running for Township Commissioner of Wards 2, 4, 6, and 8.  

The forum will be at Lynnewood School, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Second Ward:  Oliva Mario (Republican) and Alison Bausman (Democratic)

Fourth Ward:  Bobby Maurone (Republican) and Daniel J. Siegel (Republican)

Sixth Ward:  Ronald W. O’Connor, Jr. (Republican) and Larry Holmes (Democratic)

Eighth Ward:  Chris Connell (Republican) and Gerard Hart (Democratic)

Each candidate will begin and end the evening with his/her remarks about issues and goals for the township. The audience will be able to ask the eight candidates questions on issues important to the township and will hear each candidate give his or her response. The League of Women Voters’ non-partisan format will be used so that questions can be written down by those in the audience and passed to the moderator, according to the League.
