Why are you running for office:
To be able to continue the work I have begun and to see Haverford Township continue to improve and prosper.
What do you think are the biggest issues you would face in office:
(1) Continuing to provide high-caliber Township services in a cost-effective manner;
(2) Keeping taxes as low as possible for the sake of all our residents, but particularly our senior citizens;
(3) Improving the business climate so that we attract high-quality merchants to our community; and
(4) Looking for solutions to our traffic problems.
If re-elected, what would you aim to accomplish:
Haverford Township has been on a roll the past few years, with the completion of the community center, ball fields, and dog park at Haverford Reserve, the opening of the new YMCA, and the rejuvenation of the Oakmont, Llanerch, and Brookline business districts. These things don’t happen by accident: they require the close cooperation of government, business, and residents. I am proud to have been an integral part of that effort over the past eight years, and if reelected I intend to continue working to improve Haverford Township.
