Whiz Kid of the Week: Saint Denis 5th, 6th Grade Boys, Girls

Each week, the Haverford-Havertown Patch will seek suggestions from readers for individual kids, youth groups, teens, and even sports teams that wow us with their accomplishments.

We want to hear about these amazing children and teens, and select one each week as the Patch Whiz Kid. 

Now here is this week's Whiz Kid:

• Whiz Kids' Name:  The Saint Denis 5th and 6th grade boys and girls.
• Whiz Kids' School: 
• Whiz Kids' Accomplishment:   Captured the region 32 basketball championship.
• Whiz Kids' Key to Awesomeness:  "The Saint Denis 5th and 6th grade boys and girls  basketball teams each captured the Region 32 championship. After working hard at practice since early November both  teams defeated St. Katherine’s of Wayne in the finals. It was the second year in a row that the boys captured the region title.  The parents and players would like to thank their coaches,  Coach Moran, Coach Campetti, Coach Dougherty and Coach Gina for all of their hard work and dedication," wrote Cathy Clinton, the Youth Ministry coordinator at Saint Denis School Havertown.
